Mission

On order, the Safety and Occupational Health Office supports local safety and occupational health programs through the continuous execution of risk management processes and mishap prevention efforts, IOT protect NCARNG personnel, equipment, and facilities from exposure to unnecessary hazards that lead to damage, injury, and loss. 

Vision

The NCARNG promotes a culture of safety in order to improve Soldier and Equipment readiness.

Goals

• Reduce mishaps by 5% in FY25.  Injury mishaps are trailing indicators of the effectiveness of organizational safety programs.
• Incorporate Safety and Occupational Health into the NCARNG Culture to enhance the operational NCARNG.
• Implement proactive and systematic management of risk to enable readiness.
• Manage Safety & Occupational Health resources efficiently and effectively to support relevant and ready forces and equipment.
